Modern chamber opera and art song collide in a battle of sinful acts.  Featuring the west coast premiere of David Del Tredici’s Dracula, a 20-minute setting of Alfred Corn’s poem, “My Neighbor, the Distinguished Count.” Sung by New York Times, Opera News and Time Out NYC lauded soprano, Ginger Land-van Buuren.  

Jawan Jenkins brings to life Songs for Murdered Sisters, a song cycle for baritone written by Margaret Atwood and composed by Jake Heggie.  The songs were created to raise awareness of gender-based violence.

Soprano, Marcie Ley bring to life Gluttony, Envy, Sloth and more with selections by Andre Previn’, Sergei Rachmaninoff and others.

Kurt Sedlmeir as death bring the 3 Early Songs by George Crumb to the stage as he haunts our players with a reminder of where their sings will lead them.
